AR UK 2008 - Volunteer
The gathering takes a lot of collective voluntary work and organising to put together and run. As well as helping to make the gathering a success, volunteering is a great opportunity to work with and meet other activists in a spirit of co-operation.
During the weekend help will be needed with tasks such as rubbish and recycling collection, cooking and preparing meals, driving people and supplies from the nearby town, setting up the workshop equipment, helping on the info stalls, etc
We will be at the site for about a week before the date, helping to put up the marquees, sorting out the animals, clearing the site, etc. We will also be there for a few days afterwards clearing up. If you would like to help out before or after the gathering, it is very rewarding work and we will provide vegan food and camping accommodation in return for your efforts.
Sorry - No dogs on account of rescued animals near by.
